We had a wedding cake by Creative Cakes by Donna included in our venue package. I was communicating with Paula, the bakery manager, throughout the process and I was blown away! First they give you a sample box of their most popular cakes, which made for a fun tasting experience. They let you mix or match fillings and work with you to fulfill your specific vision. I had a specific vision for a magnolia-themed cake, so this involved some special orders that Paula was able to fulfill.
On the day itself, I was trying to keep my expectations low because a delicious small cake might not scale up well, but omg, it was perfect. Beautifully decorated, super moist, and the filling combo we chose turned out beautifully. They also send you a mini cake for freezing and eating later. If you are fortunate enough to have them with your venue you won't need to look elsewhere*! If you are considering them, also don't hesitate!!!!
*I don't have any experience with how they handle dietary restrictions, we didn't have any for our cake.
The shower was yesterday and I just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the cake. Not only was it beautiful, but it was delicious too! Everyone raved about it and I must have been asked 20 times who made the cake.

We got married at The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station and were fortunate to have a cake from Creative Cakes by Donna included as part of our wedding package! Our cake was delicious. and all of our guests raved about it! We sent inspiration pictures to Donna and the cake design turned out exactly as we had envisioned!

Our wedding cake was delicious and turned out beautifully, we had sent a few inspiration pictures a few months before the wedding and our cake looked absolutely perfect. We can't wait to eat it again on our one year anniversary and will definitely be keeping Donna in mind for future cakes!

It was so worth it- the cake was delicious and breathtakingly beautiful. We're so grateful for the amazing work, talent of the bakers + decorators and help and guidance of the team! The cake was delicious and exactly what I pictured! I ended up adding something last minute and the bakery manager was more than happy to make a change. They were easy to communicate with, and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a simple delicious wedding cake.
Creative Cakes by Donna makes delicious wedding cakes that can be as simple or complex as you want! The flavors are insanely delicious and hard to choose between. They offer a tasting box to take home that has great sized pieces of different cakes and filling, and the take home box is such a nice idea because you can have a little date night at home while trying your wedding cake. My cake turned out perfectly, guests loved the non-traditional Praline filling that I picked, and the simple frosting design that I wanted was perfect. Donna makes amazing cakes, and her team was a pleasure to work with.
The cake was included in out package, but we did have the option to pick between two different bakeries. Hands down Creative Cakes by Donna was the winner. While we had some different ideas about what we wanted, Donna was great at making sure we got exactly what we wanted. If you want great tasting cake at your wedding make sure you contact Donna!

Creative Cakes By Donna was very easy to work with and they created an Oreo wedding cake that looked classy and tasted delicious! We got lots of compliments on the cake and would definitely recommend them for any special occasion!
We primarily worked with Ellie at Creative Cakes by Donna. She was wonderful and our cake came out perfect. The tasting box we were provided with gave us so many options and they were all delicious! We ended up choosing an almond cake with coconut frosting. I could eat that cake every day, it was incredible. They were great to work with!
Working with Donna on the cake for my wedding was one of my favorite parts of the entire planning process. She is so passionate about her job and it shows- her cakes are delicious! I'd recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or a special event!
Donna makes THE BEST CAKES. HANDS DOWN. You're going to have a HARD TIME making the decision on flavors! What's lovely is that her flavors are rich but the cakes themselves feel lighter than most. While still decadent. It's amazing. She NAILED the exact design that I wanted from a simple picture. INCREDIBLE! And the option to add flowers for a small extra charge was a perfect touch. They are ARTISTS!
